CAHNRS faculty/staff evening fitness

Summer is approaching and CAHNRS would like everyone to know that the faculty/staff evening fitness classes are freely available to all WSU employees, staff, faculty, retirees, and spouses there of every Monday-Thursday from 5:30-6:30 p.m. at Ensminger Pavilion.

Mondays: Beginning and Intermediate Tai Chi – functional aging meditative movement for those who would like to work on balance and mobility.

Tuesday and Thursdays: Zumba Gold – low impact / low cardio dance fitness set to international and folk rhythms.

Wednesday: Yoga – gentle stretching and flow for those who would like to work on flexibility.

Classes are taught by CAHNRS staff member Robert Yarbrough (yarbrord@wsu.edu), a certified group fitness, aquatic fitness, and Tai Chi instructor as well as a holder of numerous exercise licenses.

Note: CAHNRS sometimes hosts evening functions at Ensminger Pavilion and classes are then held in a secondary location. Please contact the instructor to be added to the mailing list if interested.
