You are invited to meet with Dr. Etscheid to learn more about Washington Research Foundation and this new grant opportunity. She will describe the process and the types of projects that WRF is looking for through this program and be available for questions.
Washington Research Foundation’s Technology Commercialization Grants are:
- For translational research projects in an area of public need
- designed to move technologies addressing public needs towards the marketplace
- for investigators at Washington state nonprofit research institutions only
- primarily, but not exclusively, for translational research in the life sciences
- to support projects that can reach meaningful milestones with $10,000-$50,000 in funding
- provided without additional indirect funds
- response to preproposal submission within 6 weeks (full proposal invitation).*
* Note to WSU investigators: There is no need to complete the eRex form for the requested preproposal.
If, however, you are invited to submit a full-proposal, the proposal must be submitted through your usual grant submission process (eREX, via ORSO).
