Dustin Dennis & Nicole Snyder present “1918 Spanish Influenza Epidemic – How it affected Colfax and Pullman.” With the outbreak of the Spanish Influenza Epidemic of 1918-1919 Colfax and Pullman were subjected to multiple waves of the disease. The presentation will cover the major effects that the epidemic had on the city of Pullman and the relationship the military had with the city in regards to both the Great War and the epidemic. Dennis is a senior in the History Program, and Snyder is a senior in Social Studies at Washington State University.
