CAHNRS IT, in cooperation with ITS, has expanded central VoIP services to Puyallup REC (the final of the four RECs). The expansion in services will require us to change some dialing procedures.
Effective immediately, callers using the central phone service will need to dial the last 7 digits of the phone number that you want to connect to, for example if you wanted to call the front desk in Puyallup you would dial 445-4500. The old method of dialing 8-45XX no longer works. However, all phone calls dialed using the 7-digit remain free.
