Successful Semester Test of WSU Alert on Pullman Campus

The Office of Emergency Management conducted the fall semester test of the WSU Alert System on Thursday, September 27. The test reached 24,324 students, faculty and staff who were signed up for WSU Alert within four minutes via text, phone and email. The campus outdoor warning sirens sounded and computer pop-up notification messages were also tested on select computers.

WSU encourages students, faculty and staff to be personally aware of developing incidents, assessing each emergency individually, and taking actions to ensure the safety of all.
