Register for the UndocuQueer Conference at WSU Tri-Cities

The 2018 UndocuQueer Conference will be held on Saturday, Oct. 13, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the WSU Tri-Cities Student Union Building. Please join us for this annual event that illuminates the intersections between LGBTQ+ identities and immigration status.

Armando Ibañez will be the keynote speaker at this year’s conference. Ibañez is a filmmaker and activist who is involved in the LGBTQ and immigrant rights movements. Currently, he is the director and writer of the online series “Undocumented Tales,” a story that follows the journey of a Mexican undocumented and queer server living in Los Angeles.

Please register for UndocuQueer 2018 by Monday, Oct. 8. To learn more about the conference, visit the UndocuQueer website.

The UndocuQueer conference is sponsored by the WSU Gender Identity/Expression and Sexual Orientation Resource Center (GIESORC), Multicultural Student Services, the Crimson Group, and the University of Washington’s Samuel E. Kelly Ethnic Cultural Center.
