Bike skills rodeo, inspections to occur Saturday

The Pullman Police Department, B&L Bicycles and Three Forks Bike Club will offer skills training, helmet and bike inspections during a bike rodeo 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday at the Brelsford WSU Visitor Center, 150 E. Spring St.

Campus and community members are invited to participate in the bike rodeo that is one of many events featured in this year’s Palouse Bike Week, a Palouse-wide event intended to encourage Moscow and Pullman residents to bike within their community.

The bike rodeo will feature a skills training course, safety inspections by staff from B&L Bicycles in Pullman and helmet fittings by Pullman Police Department officers.

A family ride will follow the bike rodeo beginning at 1 p.m. from the Brelsford WSU Visitor Center. The ride will be led by Three Forks Bike Club in Pullman and bicycles and helmets are required.
