June 20 | Paid Sick Leave Requirements Training (videoconferenced)

Paid Sick Leave Requirements Training Initiative 1433, which was approved by Washington voters in Fall 2016, requires employers to provide paid sick leave to most employees beginning January 1, 2018. Eligible employees will earn 1 hour of paid sick leave for every 40 hours worked.

This training covers the policies and processes WSU has implemented to comply with the new state law.  It takes place Wednesday, June 20 from 10-11:30 a.m.
