Speaking for the President: Media & Politics Symposium

The Role of the White House Press Secretary

Thursday, April 16 | 4 – 5:30pm | Smith Center (CUE) 203, WSU Pullman

A key to any president’s success is an effective communication strategy and a skilled spokesperson to present the administration’s polices and positions. Come join us as we host Scott McClellan (former White House Press Secretary for George W. Bush) in a discussion with Lawrence Pintak (Dean, Murrow College of Communications, WSU), and Robert Mann (Manship Professor, LSU), about the roles, responsibilities, and challenges of speaking on behalf of the president.
