April Lifeguard Training & Certifications

As summer quickly approaches, University Recreation offers courses in lifeguard certification to prepare you for a great summer job or challenging career as a lifeguard! Part of UREC’s mission is to foster personal development and provide programs that allow you to have an enriched quality of life. The UREC Aquatics staff is here to provide you with the tools necessary to become a certified lifeguard or water safety instructor today.

Below are the courses offered in April:

  • Lifeguard Review Course: registration closes April 3
    • Saturday, April 11, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
  • American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification (Youth): registration closes April 13
    • Friday, April 17, 5-10 p.m.
    • Saturday, April 18, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
    • Sunday, April 19, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
  • Lifeguard Review Course (Youth): registration closes April 17
    • Sunday, April 26, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
