Intro to Snow Safety & Avalanche Beacon Clinic

Are you planning on hitting the slopes this semester? The Outdoor Recreation Center (ORC) offers a very beneficial clinic about snow safety. Don’t be caught unprepared during your adventures in the backcountry.

During this clinic, participants will learn the information and skills needed to safely and effectively use an avalanche beacon. The clinic is Jan. 21 from 6-9 p.m. at the ORC. The cost for the clinic is $7 for SRC members and $10 for nonmembers. Registration ends Jan. 18.
