Ignorance is not Bliss: The power of Memory in the era of Trump

Angela Sims will discuss the ethical implications of the historical connection between faith, race, and violence in the United States.  This talk is informed by her book Lynched: The Power of Memory in a Culture of Terror.

Sims is the Robert B. and Kathleen Rogers Chair in Church and Society, and Associate Professor of Ethics and Black Church Studies at Saint Paul School of Theology in Overland Park, Kansas.
