Convocation needs a student speaker

New Student Programs is looking for a student to deliver the Sophomore Welcome speech at University Convocation.

If you know of any outstanding students who will be sophomores in fall 2018, encourage them to apply!

Sophomore speaker applicationApplications are due by 5 p.m. on Monday, March 26.

Convocation is the capstone of Week of Welcome. At the Convocation ceremony, WSU faculty and staff gather to officially welcome new Cougs to the academic community. The winning sophomore applicant will present a 5-minute speech, offering personal reflections and words of wisdom to the entering class of Cougs.
