NOT TOO LATE TO REGISTER: “Creating a Research Poster in PowerPoint.”FREE CLASS: BCU staff is offering four sessions (of the same class), “Creating a Research Poster in PowerPoint” on:
- Wednesday, February 28, from 6:30-8:00 p.m
- Tuesday, March 6, from 6:30-8:00 p.m
- Wednesday, March 7, from 6:30-8:00 p.m
- Tuesday, March 20, from 6:30-8:00 p.m.
in ADBF 1002 (https://map.wsu.edu/t/5CC034B) . This class is open to students, grad students, staff and faculty, and space will be limited to 50 (with 4 wheelchair spaces).
Because we want to make your poster creation easier, we will be sharing from lessons we’ve learned from 20+ years of printing posters for WSU researchers, including:
- the basics of research poster requirements,
- design principles
- use of templates
- sizing issues
- good layout and backgrounds
- text issues and recommendations
- color
- importing graphs, charts, and tables
- good use of photos
- how to save your poster for printing
- and more!

Tell us which date you want to take the class, your name, phone, and email. We will confirm your registration by email and send you more details.
Not able to make those dates? Email us and let us know you are interested but not able to make the dates. More sessions will be offered on future dates before Showcase, GPSA and SURCA if we have the demand for them.
