“Under the Skin” is a series of workshops where arts are used to challenge essentialist stereotypical representations by telling stories of who we are. I started this initiative in Fall 2016 as a response to hateful, discriminatory, and derogatory discourses towards minoritized groups in the U.S. “Under the Skin” has become a safe space to be, dialogue, create, and heal.
In this exhibit you will have the opportunity to listen to the stories of about a hundred people and you will have the opportunity to create with us. The exhibit will be open until October 31 in the Fine Arts Department Gallery 3. Open 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
