Blended Learning wine tasting, meet and greet at the Brelsford WSU Visitor Center

Staff and students in the Washington State University Viticulture and Enology Program will discuss the hands-on education gained in producing Blended Learning wines 4-8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 20 at the Brelsford WSU Visitor Center.

Kaury Balcom, Public Relations and Communications Coordinator for the Viticulture and Enology Program at WSU Tri-Cities, and WSU students will talk with visitors as part of a wine tasting featuring four Blended Learning varieties.

The event coincides with WSU Homecoming and football game at 7:45 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 21, against the University of Colorado, in Martin Stadium.

The tasting will feature 1-oz. pours of Blended Learning’s 2013 Barbera, 2014 Grenache, 2016 Sauvignon Blanc and 2016 Dry Riesling. Tickets cost $5 and can be purchased at the door. Limit one per person.

Those tasting must be 21 or older. Identification will be verified. Tickets include a commemorative Brelsford WSU Visitor Center wine glass and can be redeemed for $5 off a bottle of wine.
