Department of Retirement Systems rate change and Retirement Outlook Newsletter

As of July 1, 2017, the Department of Retirement Systems (DRS) changed the employee contribution rate for PERS 2 and LEOFF participants.  The new PERS rate is 7.38%, up from 6.12% and the new LEOFF rate is 8.75%, up from 8.41%. These new contribution rates will be reflected on your July 25th paycheck.

Additionally, for all DRS participants, the Summer 2017 edition of the Retirement Outlook Newsletter is now available.  The Retirement Outlook Newsletter provides valuable information on Department of Retirement Systems programs, benefits and services.
