WSDOT just confirmed that they are planning to close Paradise Street (between Grand Ave. and east side of Spring Street intx.) on Wednesday, July 19, from approximately 7a.m. to 3 p.m. The weather prediction is close to 90 degrees which is good for paving, but takes longer for the mat to cool. The main detour will be Bishop Blvd. – Stadium Way is also available. Tomorrow they will be paving the east bound lanes from Forrest Way to the east side of the Spring Street intx. Thursday they are paving the Stadium Way and Bishop approaches. After Thursday, it should mostly just be striping, utility adjustment and other minor items.
