Seeking graduate assistant for commencement

Commencement Graduate Assistant

  • Assist the Commencement Coordinator with commencement preparations
  • Website maintenance and update
  • Social Media – Twitter and Facebook to promote deadlines, registration information, create excitement about Commencement
  • Assist with Pullman Chamber events – Lentil Festival, Awards Banquet, Cabaret
  • Assist with Convocation – similar to a Commencement but much smaller scale and in partnership with New Student Programs
  • Use own vehicle to make deliveries on campus; process deposits
  • Answer Commencement office phone, respond to voicemails and emails; order supplies
  • Participate in building the overall morale and efficiency of the office

Compensation includes a salary for nine months (.5 FTE), graduate student health insurance and an Tuition Waiver. Nine-month, half-time (.5 FTE), 20 hours per week positions.
