86 million Americans are at risk for developing Type 2 Diabetes. Has your doctor told you that you are pre-diabetic or at-risk for developing diabetes? WSU Whitman County Extension is currently accepting enrollees for the Diabetes Prevention Program. This program offers one year of group health coaching sessions designed to help you lose weight, become more active, and reduce your risk of developing diabetes. Scholarship monies are available for qualified applicants.
