Melinda Hurst Frye will be giving a lecture on Wednesday, February 15, at 4:30 p.m. in the Fine Arts auditorium, Rm 5062. This is part of the Fine Arts 2016-2017 Utopia/Dystopia series.
Melinda Hurst Frye is a Seattle based exhibiting artist, working in themes of implied environments and shared experiences within the still life aesthetic.
Her current work, which illustrates the mystery and activity of subterranean ecosystems was featured on Humble Arts Foundation and WIRED photo, and may be seen in various upcoming solo and group exhibitions throughout the Northwest region. Melinda Hurst Frye holds an MFA from the Savannah College of Art and Design and is dedicated member of Society for Photographic Education.
