The Robotics Club at Washington State University is here to increase enthusiasm towards, and knowledge of, robotics by providing hands-on and multi-disciplinary collaborative experience in designing, building, and programming tools.
They are looking for junior and senior students who have the initiative and qualifications to be a team leader in special projects. Team leaders can offer support in the following areas:
Computer engineering/science students can write a program to read input from a source such as a web page, wireless remote, or bluetooth device and move select motors accordingly.
Mechanical engineering aspect students can design moving and stationary parts that will provide support for robot frames and bodies.
Design static and dynamic mechanical systems such as support frames or gear systems for projects like the Mars Rover or a Robotic Arm
Electrical engineer standpoint students can design an electrical system to provide power to various systems of differing voltage levels and current demands on a robot.
Or design a PCB or prototyping circuit for operational use
If you know of any students who would be interested or you think would be excellent leaders please contact Marcus Blaisdell, the Robotics Club President at wsu.roboticsclub@gmail.com or marcus.blaisdell@wsu.edu
