FedEx – Dry ice and Dangerous Good/Hazardous Materials shipping

On Dec. 7, our local FedEx  informed both Central Receiving and the Office of Research Assurances that, in order to ensure  dry ice packages and Dangerous Good/Hazardous Materials packages ship out for next day delivery, they will be picked up at 1 p.m. instead of 3 p.m.  This is only suppose to be a temporary arrangement until the end of the year.

In order to accommodate this new time frame,  the Dangerous Good/Hazardous Materials shippers need all dry ice shipments and Dangerous Good/Hazardous Materials shipments ready to be picked up by 10 a.m.  If your packages are not ready at 10 a.m. there is a good chance they will not be shipped out that day.

If you have any questions or concerns please contact the Dangerous Good/Hazardous Materials cell phone at 509-432-3869 and talk to a WSU Dangerous Good/Hazardous Materials shipping specialist.
