Dec. 10: About 850 will graduate at fall commencement

commencementPULLMAN, Wash. – New President Kirk Schulz will confer degrees on about 850 students expected to participate in the free, public fall commencement ceremony at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 10, at Beasley Coliseum at Washington State University. Tickets are not required for the two-hour event.

About 180 of the graduates will participate from the regional campuses and online Global Campus. Fall graduates from all campuses may participate in the Pullman ceremony or wait until spring ceremonies at their respective campuses.

The ceremony can be viewed live online at http://www.experience.wsu.edu. The videostream will be archived for later viewing at the same website.

Guests are encouraged to park at the Lewis Alumni Centre. A free shuttle between the center and coliseum will operate 8:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Decorated for the holidays, the center offers photo opportunities for graduates and families.
