Premiums for all insurance plans will be changing in 2017, including Medical/Dental premiums, Life Insurance premiums and Long Term Disability premiums.  An explanation about the changes in the Life Insurance premiums was provided in No. 3 of the Health Care Authority Life Insurance FAQ’s.

Remember he month of November is the one time a year you can make changes to your medical, dental, FSA, and DCAP benefits for the upcoming 2017 plan year.  This year only is also an open enrollment period of life insurance.  Employees can get up to $500,000 of employee life coverage, $100,000 spouse coverage, and $10,000 child(ren) coverage without having to answer any medical questions, even if previous requests had been denied.
