New project to upgrade the WSU imaging system

Enterprise Systems has embarked on a project to upgrade the current WSU imaging system. This upgrade project will be completed in 3 phases. The first phase will be to update the Imaging System web site (imaging.wsu.edu) with the new contact and support information and transition the management and administration of the existing Oracle imaging and Kofax Capture systems over to the Imaging team within Enterprise Systems. This phase will be completed by November 23.

The second phase of the project will be to explore the Imaging needs of the WSU community and develop the specifications for a modern imaging system. This phase has begun and you will hear more about our plans before the end of 2016.

The third and final phase of the project will be to install and configure the new imaging system, train end users and deploy it across the WSU campuses. We expect this may be ready for deployment during the summer months of 2017 and in place for fall 2017.
