Oct. 17: U.S. Nuclear Non-Proliferation Program, VPR Distinguished Lecture

Anne Harrington serves as deputy administrator for Defense Nuclear Nonproliferation for the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA). As part of the Vice President for Research Distinguished Lecture series, Ms. Harrington will present an overview of U.S. non-proliferation policies and supporting activities, insights into how the U.S. and international community address weapons of mass destruction security threats, and the role that university research plays in supporting the NNSA’s mission.
