“Get Connected” with friends, family, alumni and other fellow Cougar fans during a Cougar-connected wine tasting event Friday, Sept. 30 at the Brelsford WSU Visitor Center before Washington State takes on Oregon Saturday, Oct. 1 in Martin Stadium.
The tasting will feature a variety of distinct red and white wines, including a couple blends, from four different wineries associated with Cougar alumni. The event will be from 4-8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 30 at the Brelsford WSU Visitor Center, located at 150 E. Spring St.
The visitor center will also be open for extended pre-game hours of 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 1 to assist fans with any inquiries or directions.
Connect with friends, family or fellow alums at the visitor center while learning about the broad connections other Cougars have in the wine industry. Friday’s tasting will feature samples of Bridge Press Cellars 600 Red, Craftsman Cellars Syrah, Coeur d’Alene Cellars Viognier and JM Cellars Bramble Bump White.
Tasting tickets for the event cost $5 and can be purchased beginning at 4 p.m. Friday at the visitor center. Attendees must be 21 or older to participate in the tasting and present with proper identification to purchase the tickets. Tickets are limited to one per person and include four 1-oz. tastings and a commemorative Brelsford WSU Visitor Center wine glass.
