All invited to open Poverty Awareness Week planning meetings

Poverty Awareness Week is coming up November 13–19, and the Center for Civic Engagement is looking for individuals, student groups, classes, and community partners who are interested in helping plan the week. If you or your group is interested in sponsoring an event during this week or assisting with this week’s development, please send a representative to the first Poverty Awareness Week planning meeting of the year on Wednesday, October 12, 3 – 4 p.m., in CUB 406. If you or your group cannot send a representative to this meeting but you are still interested in participating, please email Erin McIlraith, CCE Marketing & Communications Coordinator, at emcilraith@wsu.edu. Visit cce.wsu.edu/paw for more information on this awareness week. We hope to see you at the meeting!
