Association for Faculty Women 2016-2017 events

On behalf of the Association of Faculty Women I would like to welcome you to the new academic year!

AFW is a broadly inclusive group that promotes successful and satisfying careers for women, whether you are tenured, tenure track, clinical or research track, adjunct faculty, or hold an administrative position.

A few highlights for the coming year include:

  • Two lunch-hour meetings focusing on mentoring and a discussion with the leadership of the Faculty Senate.
  • Dinner events including meeting with WSU Regents, and the College Deans/Chancellors.
  • A reception hosted by President Schulz.
  • Opportunities to network and socialize including a holiday gathering at Fran McSweeney’s home and an end of the year wine tasting at the WSU Museum of Art

AFW connects you to a mutually supportive, multidisciplinary community of WSU women faculty and administrators. AFW also serves as an excellent source of information and provides strong advocacy on issues relevant to professional women.
