April 28: Student teams present their design, detail and build project of Little Free Libraries

Student teams will present a community up-cycled found materials detail and build project (Little Free Libraries) on Thursday, April 28, between 10:30 – 11:50 a.m., in the first-floor gallery of Carpenter Hall at Washington State University. The public is welcome!

WSU Advanced Interior Construction and Detailing Interior Design student teams designed, detailed and fabricated Little Free Libraries to be donated throughout the state of Washington.  During concept development student teams explored materials, methods of detailing, material specification, material assembly, appropriate application of materials, typical fabrication, installation methods, weatherproofing and required maintenance in the context of detailing and building a Little Free Library.
