Community invited to donate for the second annual Greek Door-to-Door food drive

Spring and summer are low donation times for local food pantries, so on Saturday, April 23, from 9 – 11 a.m., the WSU Greek community will collect food donations throughout Pullman for Palouse Cares. Palouse Cares, a nonprofit that holds an annual door-to-door food drive in December, will then distribute these donations to food pantries throughout Whitman County. Community members are asked to have a bag of donations ready on Saturday to help support our local community. High protein items such as peanut butter, chili, tuna, and canned meats are especially needed, so please consider including these items in your donation. For a list of suggested donations, visit cce.wsu.edu/donationguide.

Thank you in advance for helping our community thrive, and go Cougs!
