AP Advisory Council invites applications

The Administrative Professional Advisory Council (APAC) invites applications from interested Administrative Professional (AP) personnel to fill vacancies on the Council.

Openings are for one (1) Pullman council position and one (1) for Tri-Cities, for a  three (3) year term (through 6/30/2019). Alternate positions are available for one year terms, with (2) from Pullman, (2) from across WSU community. Alternate terms end 6/30/17. Applications will be accepted through March 30, 2016.

The purpose of the Administrative Professional Advisory Council is to serve as a liaison between the administrative professional (AP) employees and central administration and to effectively communicate important issues.

Objectives of the APAC are:

  • Serve in an advisory capacity regarding AP issues;
  • Represent the interests of AP employees;
  • Provide a forum where AP employees may discuss University-related issues of mutual interest; and
  • Disseminate information between AP staff and Administration.

The Council meets for an hour and a half once a month with the opportunity to serve on subcommittees which may require additional time.

We encourage Administrative Professional employees interested in serving on the council to complete an application form https://apac.wsu.edu/formtool/Signup/index.castle?formid=1 or visit the APAC web site, www.apac.wsu.edu.
