One in three women will be beaten or raped during her lifetime. This statistic affects more than one billion women and girls around the world. This year, women will be dancing as a form of protest against violence towards women. In celebration and respect for women worldwide, UREC is hosting an event that focuses on dances from all around the world. Join UREC in the fight against violence towards women on February 17 at 6 p.m. in SRC Court 1. For more information on the event, please visit urec.wsu.edu/ women-in-recreation
