Workshop: Spur deep thinking with concept mapping

At the next WSU faculty-led workshop, WSU Associate Professor Sola Adesope will discuss how concept mapping can promote students’ critical-thinking skills.

The workshop, titled Mind Mapping, is 12:10 p.m. Feb. 11 in CUE 518, and will also be live streamed. Lunch will be provided. Please register here.

Concept mapping requires drawing relationships between concepts (example here), and makes students think deeply about how ideas are connected, Adesope said.

The workshop is part of a series sponsored by the WSU Provost’s Office, Teaching Academy and WSU Learning Innovations. For the full schedule, go to the WSU trainings page.
