Writing Program faculty panel

The Writing Program is hosting a faculty panel titled: Academic English: From Theory to Practice. Dr. Victor Villanueva, Regents Professor of English and Director of the Writing Program, Dr. Anne Marie Guerrattaz, Assistant Professor of Teaching and Learning, and Dr. Nancy Bell, Associate Professor of English will discuss academic English and academic language in relation to teaching and assessing student writing. They will provide a brief theoretical background and identify some strategies for practice in college classrooms.

All instructional faculty and graduate students on all campuses are invited. The event is Tuesday, January 26, 12-1:30 p.m. and will be held in CUE 518 in Pullman and at AMS locations: Spokane – SAC 515; Vancouver – VMMC 204; Tri-Cities – West 27; and Everett – GWH 105.
