Women’s Transit: Volunteers needed

Apply Today!

Women’s Transit has been on campus since 1977, and we’re looking for volunteers (not just women!) who want to join our efforts in making WSU and the Pullman community a safer place and preventing sexual assault. We have three engagement opportunities available, and you may serve as many or as few hours as you’d like:

1)    Dispatchers receive calls and texts, and then connect passengers with our drivers.

2)    Drivers transport service patrons to their destination.

3)    Those who complete the Paired training can both drive and dispatch.

For more information about Women’s Transit please contact the Program Coordinator.

The Notices and Announcements section is provided as a service to the WSU community for sharing events such as lectures, trainings, and other highly transactional types of information related to the university experience. Information provided and opinions expressed may not reflect the understanding or opinion of WSU. Accuracy of the information presented is the responsibility of those who submitted it. The self-uploaded posts are reviewed for compliance with state statutes and ethics guidelines but are not edited for spelling, grammar, or clarity.
