Don’t miss out on adventure and hilarious mishaps when WSU Performing Arts Black Box Classics presents “The Wonderful Adventures of Don Quixote,” adapted from Cervantes’s famous novel by Conrad Seiler and directed by Bryce Park and Benjamin Gonzales.
Final performances of this family-friendly play are Dec. 11 at 7:30 p.m. and Dec. 12 at 2 p.m. in WSU’s Wadleigh Theatre in Daggy Hall.
In this humorous tale beloved for generations, an old man imagines himself to be a knight by the name of Don Quixote de la Mancha. With a thirst for gallantry but only a tenuous grasp on reality, he embarks on a series of (mis)adventures with his faithful squire Sancho Panza by his side.
General admission costs $10 adults, $8 seniors (ages 60 or better), and $5 non-WSU students and youth, with free admission for WSU students with valid ID, made possible by generous support from the WSU CougParents Program.
Tickets for Saturday’s show may be purchased at BrownPaperTickets.com. Tickets for both performance can also be purchased locally at the Brelsford WSU Visitor Center (150 E. Spring St. in Pullman) and at BookPeople of Moscow (521 S. Main St. in Moscow). Additional fees apply to web orders, and free WSU student tickets are not available online. Same-day tickets will be available at Daggy Hall beginning one hour before each performance.
“The Wonderful Adventures of Don Quixote” is presented by special arrangement with Dramatists Play Service, Inc., New York.
