Thank You! For Supporting an Inclusive Community

The recent presentation by Dr. Deryl G. Hunt, CEO of ICB Productions who developed The Ellison Model for increasing diversity in society, was a huge success thanks to the overwhelming support of the Washington State University and Pullman communities.

The Office of the Provost, the WSU Equity and Diversity Women’s Empowerment Program and ASWSU would like to extend a special thank you to all of the organizations and individuals who helped to sponsor Dr. Hunt’s visit, especially Interim President Bernardo.

The event gave student leaders, administrators and community leaders an opportunity to come together, share a meal, get to know each other and better understand how to support each other. The event has opened the door for future conversations and collaborations for faculty, staff, students, administrators and community members working toward building a truly inclusive community at WSU.

As ASWSU delegate Harald Hyllseth described, “It was an amazing experience that brought together many people who truly want to see positive change happen here.”

We greatly appreciate your ongoing support.
