The Carson College of Business announces Suzi Billington (’91) as the new director of the Carson Center for Student Success. She will oversee the center’s operations, which serve more than 2,000 students per semester, including academic advising, career and professional development, student involvement, international experience, and scholarships. Programs include Keys 4 Success, the Boeing Mentor Program, Business Club Council and the Freshman Admit Program.
As a career services professional since 2002, Billington has held leadership roles at the University of Idaho in the Internships and Cooperative Education office, the Career and Professional Planning office, and most recently served as director for the Career Center and the Academic Support and Access Programs office. She received the 2015 Leadership in Career Development Award from the Idaho Career Development Association for her work in enhancing career development resources and services to the students and alumni of the University of Idaho. She earned her master’s degree in business education from the University of Idaho in 1995.
