Pullman campus internet connection outage

Information Technology Services (ITS) is planning a system upgrade on the Pullman campus internet connection on Sunday, November 22, between 4:00 AM  – 8:00 AM.

This work will result in a total outage of all web and internet services, including the VPN. All access to and from the Pullman campus will be interrupted while this work is performed.

  • Phone and 911 will be operational but 5-digit dialing to the      branches and extensions will be down.
  • MyWSU will also be down during this time period. The outage is expected to be no longer than 3 hours.
  • ResNet will also experience outages during this work but will be shorter in duration.

WSU ITS will be replacing core networking equipment located at the border of the WSU Pullman network, which will make the internet connection more resilient.
