MSS is looking for outstanding students to serve as mentors for the 2016/17 school year!
Do you know a student who would be a great mentor? The Office of Multicultural Student Services is looking for outstanding students to serve as peer-to-peer student mentors for the 2016/2017 academic year. This position is ideal for students looking to build their leadership, cross-cultural, and teamwork skills while having the satisfaction of helping first year and transfer multicultural students adjust to WSU life.
Applicant requirements:
- Undergraduate status
- 2.5 GPA (3.0 preferred)
- 30 completed semester credit hours (45 preferred) by Spring 2016
- Familiarity with issues that affect African American, Asian American & Pacific Islander, Chicano/a Latino/a, and Native American Students
- Demonstrated ability to work well & communicate with others
