University Communications Mailing Services Tip of the Week

The United States Postal Services requires that any mailing of 200 or more pieces that is to be mailed at a discounted price (i.e. nonprofit, presorted first class, standard) MUST have the mailing list go through a list cleansing process within 95 days of mailing.

If every address on your mailing list has not been through a list cleansing processes within 95 days, the mailing can only be mailed at full first class rates. If you need help with your list, please contact your publications coordinator or Mailing Services at 335-2365, joyr@wsu.edu, or srigby@wsu.edu.
