Department of CCGRS seeking donations for book bash

Each semester, the Department of Critical Culture, Gender and Race Studies (CCGRS) hosts a “Book Bash” on the mall, where we give away books, magazines, journals, periodicals, DVDs and VHS for FREE to students as a way to re-purpose and give new life to books that are no longer used/needed. This semester, our Book Bash is on Wednesday, October 7, from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. on Terrell Mall, and we are currently seeking additional donations from departments, faculty, staff, grad students or instructors, as we usually give away several hundred books in just 2 hours! Students LOVE this event!!
Any and all donations are accepted, including children’s books, magazines and anything else that you no longer have a use for. We will come and haul everything away for you—no extra work required for you! So if you have old books gathering dust, please donate them and we will find them a new home!  Please contact Cerissa Harper @ 509-335-1794 or cerissa.harper@wsu.edu with questions, or to schedule a pick-up.  No donation too small or large!!!
