2015 Outdoor Photography Contest

Take any fabulous photos this summer? The annual Outdoor Photography Contest will be accepting submissions September 15 through October 15. The event is sponsored by WSU’s Outdoor Recreation Center and Student Entertainment Board.

The categories for the contest include: landscape, action adventure, wildlife and still-life, cultural, and motion. The winning photos from each category will be displayed in the CUB Gallery from October 18 through January 6.

To submit a photo, participants will create a Flickr account, join the WSU Outdoor Photography Contest group, tag the category for the photo and submit the photo to the group.

The judging criteria for the contest aim to highlight human or naturally powered outdoor recreation. Judges will look for appropriateness of category, technical skill with camera and visual framing as well as the seven Leave No Trace principles. All photographs must be entered in a specific category.
