Volunteers Needed for Therapeutic Riding Program

Palouse Area Therapeutic Horsemanship (PATH) is looking for volunteers to help with the therapeutic riding program for children and adults with disabilities.  New volunteers must come to the orientation, Tuesday, Sept. 1 at 5:30 p.m. in Animal Disease Biotech. Facility (ADBF) room 1002.  They must also attend a training session at the barn either Wednesday, Sept. 2 or Thursday, Sept. 3 at 5:30 p.m.  No experience is necessary. Classes are held Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings at 5:30 and 7 p.m..  Volunteers work in one class per week and must commit to a minimum of one 5 week session.  PATH is a community service activity of the College of Veterinary Medicine and is a United Way partner.
