Mark your calendars for a no charge, information session to get certified for minority, women, and disadvantaged small businesses in Washington State.
When: July 23, between 10 and 11:30.
Where: WSU Research and Technology Park
1610 NE Eastgate Blvd., Suite 650
Pullman, WA 99163
Washington State Office of Minority and Women’s Enterprises (OMWBE), the lead agency for Minority and Women’s Business Enterprises (OMWBE), will be on WSU campus, Pullman for an information session on the various certifications available as an entrée into government contracting.
According to the OMWBE announcement, “Although OMWBE is the sole certifying agency for minority, women, and disadvantaged small businesses in Washington State, it is important that business owners be aware of all options when it comes to certifications. However, it is not only about government contracting. Many private sector companies recognize and use OMWBE’s state certified firms for their supplier diversity goals such as Boeing and Costco.”
