Attention work study department contacts: Important changes you need to know!

The Student Financial Services’ Work-Study team has made some exciting changes to the WSU Work-Study Program.  These new processes are coming out of direct feedback from our Pullman campus employers and we hope that the employers find them easier to use and more equitable.

An email notification has been sent to Pullman campus employers notifying them that they have been allocated a specified number of positions for the 2015-16 academic year, rather than awarding solely on a first-come, first-served basis.  We are also happy to announce that we have a paperless system for the authorization forms for the upcoming year.  More instructions will follow in early June on how to proceed with submitting these forms.  These emails went to the department contact(s) that submitted the Work-Study Authorization forms in 2014-15.  If you need a copy of this email sent to another contact in your area, please email sfs.workstudy@wsu.edu.

Student notifications of eligibility for work-study will be emailed to students during the first week of June.  Regional campus student employment will continue to be managed by each individual regional campus.

The Notices and Announcements section is provided as a service to the WSU community for sharing events such as lectures, trainings, and other highly transactional types of information related to the university experience. Information provided and opinions expressed may not reflect the understanding or opinion of WSU. Accuracy of the information presented is the responsibility of those who submitted it. The self-uploaded posts are reviewed for compliance with state statutes and ethics guidelines but are not edited for spelling, grammar, or clarity.
