WSU Greeks Fight Hunger Door-to-Door

To stay healthy, families and individuals throughout the Palouse need healthy food year round. As part of the Center for Civic Engagement’s (CCE) 2015 Civic Engagement Week, the CCE and Community Action Center has partnered with the Interfraternity, Panhellenic, and United Greek Councils to put on a Greek Door-to-Door Food Drive on Sunday, April 19. From 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., students will be going door-to-door throughout Pullman to collect bags of canned goods and other supplies. Pullman community members are asked to prepare a bag of food with non-perishable or canned goods. High protein items are preferred. Donations can also be dropped off at Dissmore’s IGA and Walmart from April 21 to April 23 between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. All donations will benefit the Community Action Center Food Bank.
