Climbing Clinics at the SRC

If you’re looking for a fun way to take a break from studying, swing by the Student Recreation Center climbing wall! The SRC offers a few clinics designed to help you become a climbing expert.  Belay clinics are designed to teach you how to belay a partner, climb by yourself and use our auto belay system. The lead clinic is for those who are comfortable with top-roping. In this clinic you will learn how to clip the rope into protection as you climb, instead of using a belay system.

The Belay Clinics are on April 20 and 27 from 7 to 9 p.m. and the cost is $7. Registration ends the day before each clinic. The Lead Clinic is on April 18 from 1 to 3 p.m. Registration costs $5 and ends on April 12.
